2005 Team Captains Announced

Thursday, May 6, 2004

The Uconn Men's Lacrosse team recently announced it's captains for the 2004-2005 season. Senior Goalie Nick Borden (Groton, CT) and Senior Defenseman Dave Longo (North Kingstown, RI) will continue to uphold Uconn's tradition of stingy defense. Junior Midfielder Jake Gerson (Charlotte, VT) will lead the teams offense.

The #4 Seeded University of Connecticut was defeated by the #5 seeded Stonehill College 7-3 in the first round of the PCLL playoffs located in Durham, NH. Uconn's offense was shut down for most of the game while the teams defense tried to keep the game close, but ultimately gave in to the Chieftains attack in the 4th quarter.
