BOSTON -- By an overwhelming consensus, Boston College is expected to
be the top dog in the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League's Division I
this spring according to preseason voting by the conference's coaches.
The
Eagles were listed first on all six ballots, leaving them well clear of
Northeastern, which finished in second place. The Huskies will be led
by new coach Chris Boland this spring.
Connecticut, which
represented the team at the MCLA national championships last year, is
tied for third place along with New Hampshire.
